Captain Puggy Chair

"Ahoy, cap'n what's that beautiful blue shop over there?"

"Roger my cabin boy... that's the Big Blue Emporium of delight and treasure aka Antiques in Thames!  It's where I bought this old Victorian captain's dinner chair.

This mahogany, cane and cast-iron captain's chair has a patented asymmetric swivel mechanism...which allows the captain to place her derriere upon the chair, and swivel in close to the table for dinner. Comfy sit, with the curved back, and higher than normal seat height.  Excellent condition albeit some old bug in the strut underneath the cane...dead and buried!  Circa 1880.
