Victorian Lady's Chinoiserie Sew Box

A stunning antique Chinese export sewing box, a Victorian lady's BFF. Black lacquered allover, with gilded gold decals blossom borders surrounding a village courtyard, and gate houses. ON the lid, the handpainting is rather worn. And the paw feet have some nibbles of them. Interior is filled with hewed bone sewing accoutrements - needle holders, bobbins, thread cubbies and spools. Secret drawer. And comes with her lucky Meiji penny (Japanese). Circa 1880.
