Uşak "Compass Carpet" in wool

Every kiwi, oughta try to pilgrimage to our second home -  Türkiye.  This beautiful simple, short napped wool Uşak compass carpet reminds me so much of Anatolia.   Warm, earthy, beautiful and practical.  A terracotta central NSEW compass is surrounded with a soft azure background, and big puff, creamy daisy motifs.   Wool on wool.  There are imperfections of course due to the natural dyes and handwoven character.  Some wear on the fringes, with slight loosening of the warp edge, and fading to the colours.   Very easy vacuum.  Circa 1990.
