Simple and elegant yet earthy and practical; that would describe this Japanese Tansu. Elm and oak, about he the size of a banana box. Great for storage of smalls, trinkets, sewing gear, or simply just enjoy the view. Sliding doors on top, with trinkets drawers and cubbies below. Great condition with a recent restoration. Circa 1910-1920.
