Here's the nifty collection of one of Meakin's Royal Marigold dinnerware patterns. Clotted cream background with borders of mottled mint green and gold gilding. Petal edges. 4 dins (sorry, one has a chip), 6 lunch, 5 oatmeal, 5 cups and saucers sets, 4 bread and butter plates, a gravy boat and saucer, two lidded vegetable tureens and 3 graduated ashets. All in pretty good order, a tiny amount of wear to the gilding here and there. More wear would occur on a harsh dishwasher cycle. This dinnerset looks gorgeous married with whites, ambers, all greens and yellow. Circa 1930. N.b. Being sold as a lot for $175.00.
