Mahogany D front scotch chest, splitter style

A mighty D front Scotch SPLITTER chest of drawers.  Splits horizontally for transport.  Big deep hat drawer, four small drawers, and four deep, long drawers.  So, plenty of storage for your gear.  Fantastic colours and grains of clouds of caramel, russet & roasted nuts.  Big ring knocker handles.  Excellent condition with a fresh patina-conserving restoration.  A slight commensurate slop on a couple of drawers.  Circa 1870.
