kauri Scotch chest

A lovely late colonial, kauri scotchy with mottled kauri drawer fronts and stylish turned feet.  This pretty golden gal has had some historic repairs to her long drawers.  The drawer sides are no longer dove tailed they are finely nailed - a chapter in her book!  We have sorted the C21st restoration including well running drawers; perfect for stacking them full of your woolies, jeans, teeshirts ...  The chest is priced accordingly.  N.B.  we have replaced the broken escutcheon problem seen here in the pix, they are all intact.  Circa 1890.
