French Soda Syphon

J'adore this Parisian, feminine-forme shaped soda syphon.  Busty and hippy, or perhaps Gourd-like, thick glass is coated in gilded chicken wire mesh.   Glass in fine condition, mesh has lost some gilding and joins, but aesthetically super pleasing still.   Pewter syphon neck is marked Veritable Seltzogene D Fevre.  We have not used this as a bubbly water maker but rather admired its beautiful form.   This bottle is quite heavy, around 7'ish kilograms.  Circa 1910.
