A mahogany Biedermeier chest of drawers, but Nord France we think. Androgenous structure, with chamfered corners fitted Doric corbels, countersunk drawer handles (dreamily sliding drawers too), paneled sides and squashed bun feet. Carrera marble top has been hand buffed, some imperfections to touch, and smattering of ancient stains, but still looks fabulous. Excellent condition otherwise. Here's another piece of kit which would suit any room or area. Circa 1875.
