Country French Jug and Basin...simply blue on white

I love simplicity in a beautiful form; captured here in this French country toilet set.  Large bulbous pitcher and matching splash bowl.   The ironstone white glaze is decorated with circumferential bands of light sapphire blue.  The pitcher has sweet blue feathered shadows on the handle.  Lovely to set off long stems or fill the bowl with dunny rolls or towels.  Overall, very good condition, just some light here and there crazing.  No maker's mark.  Circa 1895.  Selling @ $160.00 for the pair.
