A high Victorian, shallow gauge, plinth base, locking, burr walnut credenza. Loving both the delicate floral wreath inlays and the swirly Caramello grain patterning in the burr- especially on the centre door. The end glass doors are 90 degree convex. This credenza has had a considerable restoration with us; finish & ormolou repair. Circa 1980 beige felt interior is intact, only a couple of lifted spots where glue has given way condition. I think the credenza suits the dining room, hallway or even an elegant tv cabinet. Circa 1870.
