Bobbin Column Mahogany Scotch Chest

Returning to Pappa Laird boy Johnnie in late 2024, after a decade sojourn, this handsome mahogany scotch chest has loved being with new stable mates.   This Scotchy as plenty of storage space, a top-secret drawer (opens thru a second drawer), then two over three long drawers.  Veneer fronts are in glorious flamey grains and flanked by neat tapered out bobbin columns.  Wooden knobs with mother of pearl centres, copper escutcheons.  Up on big turned feet.  Pretty reasonable condition, drawers run well; there's odd veneer edge chip, and stable age-relate splits; so priced accordingly.  Circa 1880
