big quarter-cut oak rolltop desk

This fully panelled, quarter-cut oak rolltop is beautiful in a golden buttersnap yumyum colour.  Overall, the desk was mostly restored; all prior to our purchase:  New drawer bases (now stained nicely), carriage repairs, a lap-bar and non-locking but smooth roll tambour.  A detailed interior with index boxes, quill rests, and card shelves.  For the pedestals, there's a full complement of drawers including a starboard file drawer.  No maker's mark.  Travels easily as a quintet.  Circa 1910.
