It seems that home offices are almost as essential as the privy these days! This handsome barley twisted oak Jacobean revival bureau bookcase would make a fabulous desk for home. An upper bookcase with adjustable shelves, arched astragal glazed doors, a hinged writing slope with a desk interior of cubbies, and two lower drawers for papers etc; barley twist legs with stretchers. Deep double latte colour. Great grain. Circa 1920.
