American Sewing box

An unusual-shaped, but incredibly handy sewing cabinet all the way from Michigan, US of A.  Claire, one of our Instagram followers, tells us these are known as Martha Washington sewing cabinets.  Cheers for the intel Claire.  Use Miss Washington as a chairside cabinet too.  Perfect for these winter days of sewing and creating whilst being inside.  Teak, drawers, and twin fliptop end cubbies - which are nifty-sized knitting needle receptacles.  Upon turn removable legs.  Circa 1950.
