Afghani Carpet, two by three

A humble and well-made Afghani wool on wool carpet.  A lovely thick weft of russets and browns.  Pattern is almost Turkman style with geometric snowflakes, scrolls and birds (by my reckoning).  Fat floral border.  Feels beautiful to touch, and Rocket pugster  has been very happy lolling around in this carpet.  Excellent condition albeit the nap has faded from red, approximately one quarter is less faded.  Vacuums well.  Circa 1980.
