Abadeh carpet 1.5*2.2m

A heavy Persian wool on cotton rug. This sweetie hails from the central Iranian Abadeh area. Their patterns are traditionally fine, clustered, abstract motifs of birds and flora. The carpet is densely woven with a fat nap, and lots of birds, stars,along with flowers and trees. It has faded off to earthy browns, dusky rose & creams, which makes it compliments many palettes. Excellent condition albeit the central fringes are worn. Vacuums nice and will hide floor sins. Circa 1980.
