Goldsmith Alliance Bain-Marie in EPNS

Yes... a bit old fashioned, but a stunning piece of tableware, this is a beautiful EPNS Bain Marie oval shaped tureen from the Goldsmith Alliance metallurgists of England.   Super well-made upon scrolled feet, an inner tray for the water bath, then a tureen dish.  About two-pint (1200ml) capacity.   PLUS the lid uncouples from its handle and becomes another tureen dish.   Just imagine a steaming curry and soft fluffy rice in these .   Allover engraved.   Excellent condition.  Circa 1870.
