Afghani Bohkara Carpet approx 2.5m*3.5m

A beautiful big Afghani Bokhara carpet.  Wool on cotton, with medium sized, elephant feet layout of a grid interspaced with snowflakes.   All surrounded by big fat borders of geometry.   Excellent condition albeit a wee bit of fading at one end, and the odd little wee mark (which can be remedied with a summer wash on the driveway).   Fantastic, generous size, and lush soft dense nap.  Ruby red and faded rose, black and whites are the simple colour palette, which matches up nicely with earthy tones, or minimal creams, whites, grays.   Circa 1980.
