Pine chest with fliptop lid

Oh...Clever; a rustic, pine lift-lid chest with faux drawer fronts.  Hokey pokey colour, glass knobs, turned feet, feels a bit Francophile in origin.  Neat storage for blankies, cushions, towels., or even as a suitcase stand.  Usual pine patina, with knocks and scrapes, and a tiny amount of very old dead bug.  Circa 1875.
