Colonial Rimu hallchair

A colonial rimu hall chair; but use this lovely thing anywhere inside.  Could be a bathroom receptacle for your jammies or gear for tomorrow; a chair at the back door for helping to put on your shoes... or make feature of your hallway with it.  Pretty design with a back carved with oak leaves and scrolls; turned stretchered legs.  Roasty cashew nut colour.  Upright sit.  Reasonable condition, some commensurate patina and an age-related split along seat base.  Structurally intact.  Circa 1890.
